I may not be the biggest player on the court, but I work to be the strongest, smartest, and fastest, because I am the most competitive. I love to win.
My competitiveness drives my work ethic because I cannot settle for second best. I know that "separation is in preparation". Therefore, I am willing to put in countless hours to be the best at anything I do - basketball and beyond.
My love for the game is contagious to others on my team. I make sure to help keep my team's moral and energy up during every practice and game. This is because I know that as long as we want it enough, and keep our heads up, we will find a way to win.
All the hours I spent training during the pandemic paid off. During our 2021 season, I played varsity basketball as a sophomore. I showcased my abilities on the court and proved I deserved a starting position. I started every game for the second half of the season.
I love playing basketball because it's so fast-paced. I excel when it comes to playing in transition and am able to run the court on both offense and defense. My speed and quickness is top-notch and I have been the fastest player on the court everywhere I've played.
