Hi, my name is Kiana Adamson. I am a determined, hardworking and the last to leave the court kind of athlete. I absolutely love beach volleyball and would play it every minute of every day if I could. But since I can't I pretty much just always have a volleyball in my hands in the house. My goal is to play D1 beach volleyball and my long-term goal is to play professionally.
I'm very passionate and driven. I will never skip a rep and I put in 100% effort. I'm always looking for opportunities to get better and love getting pushed to my limits. Like, challenging myself by playing up age levels or against women.
I listen to advise because it makes me better and coachable. I try my best in the sand and in the classroom. My teammates would say I am an optimistic player, motivated to be the best athlete and fast.
My other interests are being a competitive indoor skydiver at the international level (I'm competed at the World Cup in Belgium this past April), I am a self-taught gymnast, I have competed in Ninja competitions, I go surfing when I visit an ocean, I own my own scrunchie business called Sky Crunchies, and I ref adult co-ed sand 6's league as a part-time job
One of my biggest accomplishments was being featured on the Whistle Sports "No Days Off" YouTube channel. Check out my documentary:Kiana Adamson Has Big Goals For The Future - Bing video
Thanks for taking the time to read my personal statement.
