Personal Statement

My experience in the golf world has been a wild roller coaster of ups and downs, but it has taught me the value of etiquette, patience, and confidence. I have been playing since I was four, ever since I was able to hold a golf club. Golf has taught me a lot of things, during tournaments in golf, it is crucial to keep a good etiquette, meaning maintaining a respectful attitude towards your competition, learning to accept the uncontrollable, and most important respecting the integrity of the game. All of these traits have taught me manners, and a good look about the worst of situations. Even if you’re upset about your performance, you should always keep a good attitude towards your competitors, and learn that you have bad shots, but you can make those bad shots, GOOD shots. And the most important part of etiquette, honesty. If you’re not on live television, then you have to keep an honest score; and learn to play fair. You’re not always gonna get first place, but that’s the part of learning that’s so great. Golf has taught me that patience is one of the most important things in life. You can't go into golf, or anything in the real world blazing straight into it. You have to be cool-headed and leveled, then strategize what to do next. Along with golf, I keep a GPA of over 4.0. I'm  serious whenever it comes to school and golf, which keeps me level headed in both athletics, and academic environments. I aspire to continuously improve my golf-game, school, and make a true difference in the world, where I can help others and make an impact.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
