March 2024Personal Statement
I started playing golf during winter of 2021. I tried out for my hush school golf team and played some varsity matches. My lowest score that season was 94 but I started at 116. Last summer I attended a golf camp at St. Andrews golf course in Scotland. The days consisted of training sessions and daily course play. I learned so much there. Currently I am scoring in the mid-80s. I truly love the game of golf and hope to continue to play at a collegiate level. I work weekly with a swing coach to improve my game. Also every other month, I work with a personal trainer who specializes in athletes on strength and weight training. I go to the driving range, golf course and putting green daily.
