Isabelle Kavanaugh '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Isabelle.  I have been golfing since I was 10. As I grew, I started to be more serious about the game and realized my potential with it. I realized that this was a long term commitment for me, so I started to work on myself, rather than just focusing on technique, like other players. I feel this is  something that pulls me out from a larger group. I use my mind and body more than just techniques when I'm playing, for example, I will use specific breathing excercises to get my self in the zone and envision certain objects to help with focus. In addition to having built up confidence and strategy, I also have an amazing work ethic and drive that many coaches and teachers have commented on. They made it known that I was a pleasure to work with, and my ability to be able to take control of the learning process by asking questions when necessary was helpful. These attributes allow me to be successful in the classroom as well as athletically. With that being said, I think I'd be a fantastic asset to your golf program and school as I try 100% all of the time.
