Since I was little I have always had a strong passion for golf. I love the game, enjoy the sport and strive to be better every day. I was invited as an 8th grader to play at the high school varsity level and have played in every meet since. This year I will be a junior captain of the team, and will challenge and lead my teammates to the next level. In 2014 I was selected to be a part of the Academic All State Team for Class AAA, and in 2015 I earned All Conference honors. Last year I was voted most valuable player by my coaches, as my score was used in every meet we attended. I am easily coachable and feel my game is constantly improving. Aside from golf, I also have been a member of the high school varsity kick and jazz dance team. We won the State Tournament in 2015 and placed second in 2014 and third in 2016. I was a choreographer for kick and jazz, and earned All Conference honorable mention as well as a 3 year varsity letter winner. I feel dance has strongly impacted my flexibility and core strength for golf. I also strive in academics and I am a member of student council. In college I would like to focus on a career in medicine, and would love the opportunity to play golf as well. I would be a great asset to any team as I am a strong leader and a well respected team player.
