Personal Statement
I am excited to continue to be an environment where I can learn and invest in myself and in my career. I look forward to going to college and earning a degree. I have had a great opportunity during high school to be able to play in every match during my 4 years and also being able to letter for each of these four years. Being part of the golf team has afforded me leadership opportunities as well as we have many younger players on our team and I have tried my best to be a positive leader and influence. In fact, I was recognized last year as the winner of the 2014 -2015 Positive Athlete Award for Girls Golf for Western Pennsylvania. The winners for each sport were awarded based on those athletes that demonstrate optimistic attitude, encouraging teammate, being a servant leader, having a heart for others, admitting imperfections, always giving 100% and putting team first. While playing golf is something I truly love to do, I also find time to participate in the marching band as I have always loved music. I also play the piano and I am an organist for my church. In addition, I was able to maintain straight A's throughout my junior year, and have been on the honor roll every high school year, even with rigorous Advanced Placement classes. I think this balance of life helps me in keeping me busy but also focused as I try my very best in everything I do.
