Hello!
My name is Mariah Smith and I am a junior from Clarksville, TN - Class of 2017.
As a sophomore and then junior, I secured the #1 spot on my high school varsity team and continue to work towards improving my game through hard work and determination.
I recently competed in the Kathy Whitworth Invitation at Mira Vista CC in Fort Worth, Texas where I finished T23/72.
Other tournaments include the AJGA Girls Championship at Furman GC Sept. 4-7 where I finished T47/78 with a score of 78-79-77=234.
On June 20-21, I competed in the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was such a wonderful and exciting experience! I missed the cut after scoring 79-76=155, however it was a great learning experience and served as a great motivator for me to work even harder at improving my game. I am already looking forward to hopefully earning another chance to compete in it again next year.
