Millie Terrion '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 15 year old and going to start my sophomore year of high school and have been playing golf since I was four.  I would love to play collegiate golf.  If I was given the opportunity to compete on a collegiate golf team my goals would include: Graduating as a student athlete with honors, and pursuing a post-graduate degree. I would like to participate as a leader in the classroom and on my team.  I would work extremely hard to reach team and individual goals in pursuit of conference and other team titles. 

I am a team leader and always lead by example.  What makes me stand out is that I have been a multi-sport varsity high school athlete. I am very coach-able and willing to go above and beyond what it takes to play golf at a high level.  Competing on multiple varsity level high school teams at a high level and maintaining the skills and practice time to do so shows my dedication, willingness to compete, and the work ethic it takes to make this happen.  

Above all I am an excellent student with a 4.0 GPA. I am an honor roll student and a member of the National Junior Honor Society.  I am able to maintain this high academic achievement while balancing playing both golf and soccer at high levels.   I have maintained a 4.0 GPA with Honors and Leadership Classes.  I am also an elected member of my High Schools HOPE SQUAD which is a peer support program that empowers a few selected students to be trained to recognize if their peers are at risk for suicide as well as how to encourage peers to seek help from a trusted adult.  I am confident that any collegiate golf coach will be happy to have me represent them, their university and their team.
