I am a senior in high school looking to attend a college that gives me the knowledge to enter the workforce as a radiation therapist and also a school with a competitive golf team where I can challenge myself to improve my golf game as well as my character as a teammate. Although golf is an overall individual sport, I love being apart of a close-knit team that can closely resemble a family. I love the game of golf and meeting others that share my same passion. Golf is so special to me because of the mental challenges it puts me through, golf is a very unique sport. It challenges your mental toughness which is one of the biggest things I always strive to improve on and off the course. As a golfer, I played in 21 events this past summer and placed top 5 in 10 of them and medalist in 4 of those 10. My low round this year was a 69, breaking the record at my high school.
As a student athlete I also value my academics as much as my golf game. School is very important to me and I always put best effort into every assignment I submit. I love science and math, they both interest me in different ways. Science is something I see myself studying the rest of my life. My goal is to graduate from college with a major in biology which will prepare me to be certified as a radiation therapist. I am so excited to start the road to my future and discover all the great opportunities out there!
