Personal Statement
My whole life I’ve had a big passion for hockey and I want to be dedicated for a competitive college hockey team. I have played hockey my whole life and been on many teams. I am currently apart of the Reading Girls Varsity High School team and have been since my freshman year. I have also been apart of the U16 half season team of the Boston Jr. Shamrocks hockey Club for one year. I was a starter and led my team in scoring goals through the season. I can easily say my dad has always been a big support who's had a great impact on me, along with many more coaches I’ve had that have been terrific! I am a person that can be called a coachable athlete. All year round I am always staying involved with hockey and trying to build my athletic ability. I believe that there is always room for improvement.
I always give 110% and never give up; pushing myself harder and harder to get to where I want to be. I like to set big goals for myself and strive for success. I am a great team player who always works hard on and off the ice. I love supporting and encouraging my teammates. Whether it’s a game or practice any shift or time I spend on the ice, I am fully committed to being mentally and physically ready to achieving what's possible. I am very much committed and dedicated to my academics as I am with hockey. I manage my time well because it is extremely important and significant to me that I do my best and get the best education I can have.
