Liv Cohen '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Liv. I am a current freshman at Worcester Academy playing right wing on their varsity hockey team. I weigh in at 5'7, 155lb, and play at the AAA tier 1 club level with the Minuteman Lady Flames. I started playing hockey around the age of 10 and I have come a very long way from when I started 6 years ago playing with the boys. I have a lot of passion when it comes to playing the game and I can never think of a time when it was not my goal to play college hockey. I have been to many showcases as well as camps to showcase what I can do both on the ice and off the ice. A chance to play hockey at the collegiate level would mean me fulfilling my hopes and dreams. I always believe that I can get better at my sport and will do whatever it takes to get to be the best version of myself as I can be. 

Being a reclass freshman I think allows another year for me to grow as a player. I am looking forward to starting the process of my journey to play at the collegiate level at a school that is the best fit for me athletically and academically. I consider myself coachable and not afraid of constructive criticism, which is why I believe I have grown so much as a player in a short period. Academics are also very important to me which is why I try to balance both my sports and my academics equally by setting up a schedule to help me remain organized.  During my fall season, I play defense for my school's field hockey varsity team, and in my off-season which is the spring I work out 4 days a week with workouts given to me by my father who is a certified strength and conditioning coach.
