Coriann Hoag '24 Recruiting Profile

My whole life I have been told that "hard work can get you anywhere", and so far it has gotten me to play my favorite sports at high levels, which I could not be more grateful for. From putting in extra hours in the gym to getting out on the ice before practice starts and staying on a little bit after it ends, I have been able to improve my skill in something that I genuinely enjoy. I have come to love working hard, whether in school, on the ice, or on the track, I do not feel accomplished unless I know that I am putting my all into every practice, workout, and game. I have always been told that I am a leader by example, no matter on the ice or off, I always try to be encouraging and help out the best that I can. Whether that's picking up an extra locker room chore because a teammate is stressed out or being encouraging in the weight room.
