My name is Kathryn Kotchish and I am currently a Sophmore at Dallastown Area High School. I am interested in playing ice hockey at a collegiate level. I have not yet chosen a major to pursue, but am considering the study of Biology, specifically interested in Sports Medicine.
I am dedicated in all facets of my life, whether it be leading my ice hockey teams (19U AA and 16U AA Elite), excelling in school with a GPA of 4.0, or helping coach younger kids on the ice. I am particularly proud that I have been nominated as Captain on both teams, as it showcases my ability to lead and the qualities I believe are so important, such as being a team player, being coachable, able to effectively communicate, as well as having a strong sense of team values.
I have a strong desire to continue playing ice hockey at a highly competitive level for as long as I am able. I am confident that I will be able to continue excelling in my studies, as well as ice hockey, throughout my college career and am hopeful to find the best culture fit that allows me to do so.
