Personal Statement
As a senior (c/o 2017) at T.R. Robinson High School, I am very active academically, with the National Honor Society and with other extracurricular activities. I am currently enrolled and plan to complete five AP courses this year and maintain my placement in the upper ten percent of my class. I am also the Commanding Officer of the Robinson NJROTC unit and 2016 Florida state champion for Orienteering (HS student females).
This past season as a junior, I was a captain of the Lady Knights varsity lacrosse team where I was the overall stat leader for the team with 29 goals (#1), 10 assists (#1), 109 draws (#1) and 60 draw controls (#1). At the end of the season I was awarded Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
Since the last varsity season, I have continued to play club lacrosse during the summer and fall and our team (Tampa Shooters Lacrosse league, Hot Thunder) is currently the #1 seed going into the championships game this coming weekend.
I truly love the sport and it comes through in my play on the field, my desire to see my teammates perform well - through coaching and encouragement and sharing the opportunity to play and score - my work ethic during practice and the drive to win.
One of my greatest wishes is to continue playing lacrosse in college and to see how I can continue to improve and contribute in an environment that suits my higher educational goals.
