Personal Statement
I have an extremely strong passion for lacrosse and always have since I started playing in 7th grade. One of the things i like best about playing mostly midfield is that i get to play offense and defense. Growing up i could never pick which i liked better, and once i got to high school and started improving in both offense and defense, i knew midfield was for me. Right off the draw my number one focus is to at least win direction of the ball, because a good center knows self-drawing is not always the best option. I have trust in my teammates and always hope they trust me back. I also know the importance of transition down the field, which is often one of the things most teams always have to work on. I am aggressive and determined at all times on the field. I am a very competitive person, but even when losing, I am always thinking of what we as a team need to do differently to turn the game around. I believe team chemistry is the key to a successful season. It is important to always have positivity and a good attitude on and off the field for each and every teammeate to feed off of. Off the field I am in National Honors Society, recieve honor roll, and am involved in many clubs such as Cinnamentors, Prom committee, Interact, Scym, and S.T.O.P.
