I am a bisweptual rower from Pacific Rowing Club, San Francisco. I tried out crew team in 8th grade. I ended up loving rowing more than any sport I had previously played. I love the connection of the boat, the rigor and competition both on the water and erg. As a freshman, I raced in Youth National Championships, Sarasota. My 8+ boat got 2nd place in petite finals.
Important qualities that I bring to the team are consistent work ethic and versatility in any position of the boat. I maintain a workout outside of practice to improve my erg score. I support my teammates every practice and race because I believe that we are a cohesive group that works as one unit to be successful.
My general philosophy is to get better everyday in all my interests, including academics. I am passionate about social justice work. My extracurriculars include Model UN and sea scouts. I want to go to a college with a competitive program because I am dedicated to my academics.
