Emma Goedhart '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi there! 

My name is Emma Goedhart and I’m a rower for E.L. Crossley Secondary school, Fonthill, Ontario and in the summer I row for Notre Dame Rowing club, Welland, Ontario. I have been rowing for almost a year and a half now and hope to do so for many years. 

I have had an interest in sports from a young age. I played several growing up but never found one that I could really connect with. In 2021 I decided to join my school’s rowing team and I never looked back. Rowing is a sport which allows me to set goals and push myself to meet them. Through rowing my values of hard work, persistence, and commitment have been met. It has also helped me form connections with team mates. The relationships I have formed are made stronger through all the hard work we complete together. Being part of a rowing crew I aspire to create a positive and strong bond. I believe it is an important foundation for success. 

After High school I am looking to row at a collegiate level within a team that values hard work and high level education just as much as I do.
