Personal Statement
Growing up I have always found my heart on the soccer field. I strived to become the best player I could be. I spent countless hours throughout my life practicing and playing soccer. I have seen tremendous progress in skill through my hard work and dedication. My positive attitude to keep improving has pushed me to be the player that I am today.
As a child I was always focused on scoring the goals as a midfielder. My incredible speed was an advantage to my team because I could carry the ball quickly up the field. But, as the years went by I began to settle in as a defender. Still my quick change in speed is a tool to be used when I am defending a fast player. With the mindset of a previous midfielder I know how to deliver the ball to where they would like to receive it. Even now as a right defender I still slip in the wall pass to an outside midfielder so I can run up the field for a cross into the box.
Not only do I focus on athletics, but on academics. Every day I put all my effort into maintaining a good GPA. Attending a good collage of my choice has always been a huge dream of mine. My future relies on the amount of effort I apply into my life now, and I am determined to make the very best out of what I am given.
I hope to graduate from the school of my choice with a degree in nursing. In the future I aspire to become a pediatric nurse for my love of helping others and children.
