Kathryn Grace Jones '23 Recruiting Profile

"Every decision I make is the sum total of who I am."  I believe this statement with every fiber of my being.  Training for soccer has required much of my time on and off the field.  Playing college soccer is a major part of my hopes and dreams, but so is leaving college with a degree that will help me reach my lifelong dream of working with children.  I have been volunteering at Cornerstone Ranch in Mt. Olive, Alabama for the past two years.  It is one of my most favorite things other than playing soccer.  Soccer has taught me so much about life, how to dig in when things are tough, like when my team is down 2-0 in the last half.  It has also taught me how to be a good teammate, how to be coachable and never to back down from competition.  I make a great candidate because I am willing to work even when I am tired because I KNOW that is the moment when I can shift from good to playing with excellence!
