On my team I am the oldest girl, most of the team looks up to me for guidance and I always try to give the best performance for them. I am really team oriented, I thrive with a group of girls who all want to do their best. Soccer has been my life throughout middle school and high school, and I really want to continue in college. I want to play on a D3, or NAIA team - a school that I love - so that I love playing for the school. I'm a bit of an unique recruit because I have late diagnosed dyslexia, but my desire is to be an English Major, with a Creative Writing focus. I learned to overcome much of my dyslexia at a young age on my own, but it would always effect me academically which did not reflect my true abilities. When I finally got diagnosed last year in March 2018, I decided to switch schools so I could get the help I need. Even though the school I switched to is harder for me academically, all courses are Honor courses, I'm surrounded with people who support me. I am looking for the same kind of college.
