Personal Statement
"Start unknown, Finish unforgettable"- unknown.
I have had a passion for soccer, which started when I was four and got applauded for scoring... if only it weren't in my own goal. I am Grace Gaston, a junior at Lancaster High School. One goal is to get my Bachelor and Masters Degree in Mathematics. Another goal is to play competitive soccer in college.
For the past two years, I have been taking challenging courses to help me discover which field I would enjoy in the future; these classes include engineering, anatomy, Mathematics, AP English, and AP history. My interest is peaked when it comes to math and English.
To accomplish my dream of becoming a competitive soccer player, I have diligently played since I was four years old. Dedicated to year round competitive soccer club/ academy team since age ten, playing all positions from goalie to striker. Which has helped me achieve my desire to be a Varsity soccer player as a ninth grader.
I am highly involved with my church, attending weekly and volunteering in the Children's Ministry. I also have had the great opportunity to be a leader in Children's ministry camps. Another area of ministry that I have had the pleasure of participating in is our missionary trips to Mexico. This built houses for truly needy and grateful families.
"The quest begins, let me be known." - Grace Gaston
