Hello my name is Lily Kaylie Bella. I play for the FC BAY AREA 08G ECNL team and I'm a very committed player. But family in my opinion is the most important thing out of everything. My parents are deaf and we all sign to each other. I am a so called CODA and I never really spoke until I was three. Which built our bond in a lot of ways. By our facial expressions or body language our whole family knows what's wrong. We figure it out as family in ways no one else can. Aside from family, school is next. I love to go to school and learn more about our history of the world or read about anything. I know I can always gain knowledge from whatever I read or do. At all times when the hardest courses are offered in my school I challenge myself to take it. After is soccer, always. I show up early to get in the mindset of practice. My mentality is very important when it comes to soccer. I have to always be on my toes. I must engage in the environment in order to stay ready. Soccer is my escape from reality and gives me a sense of why I’m here. I always find a way to play with a ball or anything around me to fidget my feet with. I am always trying to train where ever I can to beat myself. Whether it's on vacation or at my family's houses when I visit. It is you vs you. I don't have a personal trainer so instead I watch all types of YouTube videos and watch the techniques. For example, how to shoot a ball with the correct placement of my foot or where to position myself in certain areas. I want to pursue college soccer at the highest level possible and hopefully go into professional soccer. I believe that school and sports helps build your character and puts all the pieces of your attitude or mentality about doing something.
