Alize Soto '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alize Soto , I'm currently fifteen years old and a sophomore in high school. I live in Los Angeles , Watts. I have been playing soccer since I was in the fourth grade. I will admit that when I began to play I never thought of playing collegiate level. However as I grew older and grew more of a devotion to soccer ,I realize that I want to play in college and even go as far as playing pro. This being said I am aware of the immense opportunity that this is. 

I have excellent touching, dribbling, and centering on the field. I am also very persistent on the field. Over time I have developed to be a strong team leader and built a connection with many of my teammates which helped me developed my sportsmanship. For many of the teams I've joined I was team captain. I strive to always be better and push myself until I achieve the goal I set out for myself and maintain a positive mindset. 

In academics , I have always maintained good grades and I highly pride myself on maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher. I also participate in many extracurricular activities , and involve myself as much as I do on the field as I do in academics and socially. I am also a student representative for my school grade. 

I want attend a college that will guide me to my full potential academically and on the field. I do not have any preferences for in or out of state schools and just want to make the right decision to find the college for me. I have very big aspirations for myself and going to college is the biggest because I will be first in my family to go to college and graduate and become something more than what society sets us to be.
