I have had a ball at my feet since I could walk, and have consistently felt the happiest while on the pitch. I love challenging myself to constantly be better because I believe there is always room for improvement. One of my favorite aspects of the game is watching and learning from others. Every player has their own unique style, and I love trying to learn from them and adapt different movements to my game.
I have always considered myself a hard-working person and believe it’s important to a maintain balance between good grades and strong athletics. I am accountable and responsible, in terms of school and life. For my future, I am hoping to pursue a career in law enforcement, enabling me to continue my lifelong goals/traits of justice/responsibility.
Along with good grades, I also pride myself on high fitness levels. So, to maintain those during the Winter, along with soccer, I joined my high school’s basketball team. I think the aspects of both games complement each other, making me a better player on both the court and the pitch. Being a two-sport athlete has taught me a lot about accountability and time management. The time restraints have challenged me to take advantage of opportunities to do school work while balancing a busy sports schedule. This would make me a good fit for college because I will be able to balance a demanding soccer and academic schedule.
