Personal Statement

Hello Coaches! My first steps on the ground were running, not walking. Since I could “run”, I have participated in various sports, including football, volleyball, gymnastics, basketball, skiing, and much more. But nothing has ever come close to soccer. Since I was 3 years old, I have been playing soccer. Dedicating my every move, thought, and feeling to the game. My passion and drive for the game have only intensified since then, and this has made me realize from a young age that I want to take myself to the next level.

Something unique about me is I recently started weightlifting. As a junior, I am close to breaking 3 main lift records for girls at Eagle Valley High School (Clean, Squat, and Deadlift). Having completed my sophomore year, I took 2 honors classes and 1 DE College class, averaging a 4.0 (weighted) GPA. I am currently in 4 DE College classes and 1 honors class, I am engaged in my school's community as a leader in Link Crew and have strong connections with my classmates and teachers. I am open to all opportunities when it comes to college. Along with finding a school where I can play soccer to perform at my highest level, and be on a team where I can contribute to the program, I'm also looking for one that will push me academically.

My ability to see and visualize the game sets me apart from others on the field. I know what runs to make and when and what ball to play. I am one of the most competitive players on the field. I aspire to win but know that I will always learn from my mistakes, win or lose - or tie. I have a very coachable mentality due to my passionate and competitive nature.
