Samantha Dube '25 Recruiting Profile

My passion for soccer and my desire to continue my academic and athletic journey at the collegiate level. My name is Samantha, and I am currently a junior at Masuk High School in Monroe, CT. I am excited to share with you what makes me a dedicated and promising student-athlete. 

I have always been drawn to the forward position, where I have honed my skills and developed a deep love for the game. What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to improving my abilities. I take immense pride in my shooting accuracy, my strength in maintaining ball possession, my footwork, and my speed on the field. These attributes have allowed me to contribute significantly to my teams' success. 

Academically, I have consistently excelled in the classroom, making the honor roll every year of my high school career. I am committed to pushing myself academically and have pursued honors classes to challenge myself further. I firmly believe that the discipline and determination I bring to my studies also translate to my performance on the soccer field. 

Beyond academics and soccer, I am dedicated to my community. I volunteer my time coaching youth sports, sharing my love for the game with the next generation of athletes. I am also an active member of the Red Army Pep Squad at my school, where I support our teams with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. I believe that my involvement in these activities has shaped me into a well-rounded individual and a team player who values camaraderie and support.  

My approach to soccer goes beyond individual achievements. I prioritize good sportsmanship, strive to be a leader on and off the field, and consistently make decisions that benefit the team. I believe that a strong team dynamic is the foundation of success in soccer, and I am committed to fostering a positive and cohesive environment. 

As I embark on the college recruitment process, my goal is to find a school where I can continue to challenge myself both in the classroom and on the field. I am open to exploring all options and am eager to find the perfect college match that offers the highest level of competition possible. My aspiration is to not only excel as an athlete but also to be a role model for my peers and make my parents proud of the person I have become.
