I am from a small town from Keystone Heights in Florida that's wishing to improve on the sport I love playing ever since I was 5 which is soccer. I also am currently involved in cross country, track, and flag football. I am willing to become better as a person and player for the love of the game, also to understand it more. There is a lot I don't know but I'm willing to take the time and learn. For this sport I've tried many other sports that would be beneficial for me. My 7th grade year I decided to do track because from a friend it helped him so much in soccer so I decided to give it a try. Track did so much for me too also not to mention the sprinting was very beneficial for me to beat defenders if someone gave me a long ball I would out run them and dribble to the goal. The past 4 years of track I went to regionals for my 4x4 team and my average split was a 1.07 but freshman year I hit a PR with a 1.03. With that said sophomore year I decided to try cross country and it made a HUGE difference when I was on the field. In the past I heard that soccer players that were good from our school did cross country and that's when I decided to give it a shot. From track it never helped me build my stamina but cross country did and I was very pleased with the outcome! My first meet I got a 31.5 5k and at the end of the season I made it out with a 25.29. A 6 minute difference. During my sophomore year I received an All County Honorable Mention for striker with 18 goals and 5 assists. This next season, junior year I am determined to be on All County First team or Second team for striker and for that there must be more hard work to achieve my goal. Of course I'm putting my studies first and hoping to go to any college that is right for me in the Medical field. My mom always helps me scheduling my time between sports and school practice work for the future of major tests such as the SAT and ACT. In Keystone Heights High School I am currently in Key club and soon to be in French Honor Society (FHS). I'll be thanking God for the path he's choosing me to walk in and hoping to seek a school with my needs academically. Thank you for your time.
