I am a junior in high school and have played soccer since the age of three, often with teams a year or more older than I was. Although I've played in many positions, I am most confident at the midfield positions. I was captain of my high school's JV team my freshman year and started for varsity every year since. Although I played for the Florida Rush soccer club for 6 years, I recently transferred to the Florida Kraze Krush club, which has given me the opportunity to work with more advanced athletes and improve my overall skills. I have also trained for twelve years in different dance styles and believe this has helped me with my footwork on the field. Academically I'm a member of the National Honor Society and have held a great GPA for my entire high school career, which includes many advanced honors courses. I love working with children and that is why most of my volunteer hours are done babysitting and working at Lake Sumpter Community College as a counselor-in-training for the Kid's College Summer Camp. I'm undecided on a major when I get to college, but biology, physical therapy and/or sports medicine are areas of interest for me. I have a strong work ethic and am dedicated to not only my team but also to improving myself on a daily basis. I truly feel that I can continue playing competitive soccer at the next level and look forward to learning more about soccer scholarships that will allow me to play at the collegiate level.
