My name is Symone Dorsey. My goal is to play soccer for a highly competitive Division 1 school. I am a great candidate due to my drive and ambition. I have always been, to this date, the fastest kid on the field; that is what makes me stand out the most. I believe my versatility to play offense or defense, speed, attacking mentality , ability to defeat defenders 1v1 and ability to finish with both feet, separate me from other players. Coach Rivah Mills of Tophat, stated I have the best shooting technique, out of all levels of the 2007 group. My leg strenghth also allows me to be a scoring threat from long and short distance. I am always putting the ball at my feet as much as I can, no matter how much time I have inside and outside of practice. I enjoy growing as a player, while also helping and encouraging my teammates to grow as well.
I will be an upcoming junior for the 23-24 school year. I will be focusing on my academics to the best of my ability. I will be taking Ap physiology and Ap Lang, my jr year. My sophomore year I took; Ap human geography and one semester of Ap world history. Academically and from a characters standpoint,my parents have instilled in me, hard-work, focus and treating all people with respect and in a manner in which I would like to be treated.
Outside of soccer, I have an older sister who will be a freshman in college at Florida state university, this upcoming August. I love being around and spending time with my family and friends. Overall they have helped me become a better person. I also enjoy photography and I am very creative and artistic.
