Hello Coach, Thank you for viewing my profile and considering me as your goalkeeper for the class of 2025’.
Because of my height I naturally started with basketball; until my older brother, an upcoming striker, started using me for practice. So when the U10 girls’ soccer team needed a goalkeeper, I was volunteered. I remain a goalkeeper to this day. My innate gifts of quick reflexes, good hand-eye coordination, and good ball handling made me a great fit for the position.
Hard work, consistency, and training have helped me stay at the high level I am now at. I have been playing in the Girls Academy League for 3 years ever since the league's opening. This is my 3rd year captaining my club team, so I would bring a strong leadership role, and team building ability. I made varsity my freshman year and also became a starter. My coaches say I have innate leadership abilities as well as problem solving and making people feel comfortable.
My high level training has helped me hone and refine my innate gifts. I have developed good ball control, proper diving technique, distribution skills, and cross collecting. I have an easy going temperament that keeps me calm under pressure on and off the field, while still maintaining that dominance a goalkeeper requires. I am certain I would love to play collegiate women’s soccer where I can build life long bonds and relationships with my teammates, coaches, and staff.
