Personal Statement

I have been playing soccer for 13 years now and I keep getting even more successful as I become older. I knew from the first time I stepped on the field that I wanted to continue playing soccer for as long as possible at the highest level possible. I know that playing in college is a huge opportunity and I am determined to achieve my goal of playing at a collegiate level.

I am a very fast player and I am able to bring the attack. I always maintain optimal positioning on the field, for possession soccer, and I have very good field vision.  I have been voted team captain a couple times so I am always striving to be the best teammate I can be and I try to lead by example while also motivating my teammates to strive for greatness. I am a highly coachable player and team player as I love to contribute to the teams’ success.

I have very good study habits and I always push myself to be the best student that I can be. I am always on top of my grades and I study hard to maintain my GPA. Out of school, I volunteer a lot of my time to help coach and referee youth soccer. I also donate large amounts of time volunteering wherever I can.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field but yet enjoy the experience. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college that will satisfy my wants and needs. My main goal is to work as hard as I can and to make my parents proud of everything I have achieved.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
