Being a student-athlete with a 4.0 GPA, I understand high school and college isn't just about sports, but the education that comes with it. I currently plan on graduating high school with a Certified Nursing Assistant certification. I plan on furthering my nursing education in college.
As a player, I am very committed to the sport and I'm determined. I like to be surrounded with players who have the same level of commitment and who love the game. I am most comfortable in an environment where I receive direct feedback from coaches that better me as a player. Growing up, I had two older brothers who were very involved with soccer which allowed for my knowledge of soccer to grow and to understand the physicality of the game. In college, I want to play in an environment that will challenge me and also allow me to grow as a player.
As a Freshman in high school, participating in Iowa's largest girl's soccer division, I started every game at midfield and was rarely substituted. At the end of the season, I earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention Award.
During my Sophmore year, I competed in the same division and started every game as a defensive midfielder. At the end of the season, I was selected as a second team All-Conference midfielder.
