Samee McDaniel - ...Personal Statement
My name is Samee McDaniel. I have been playing competitive soccer since the age of 8 years old, recreationally since 5. I am a member of the St. Joseph's Academy Graduating Class of 2025 and SJA's Varsity Team. During my freshman year, we were the Louisiana State Runner-ups. For my sophomore season, we won the Division 1 title for the State in 2022-2023. I am looking forward to a great year in the 2023-2024 Division 1 campaign. I would welcome you to visit my games or request an online link to view them. My jersey number is 8 for the 2023-2024 year.
As for my goals, I would like to pursue a soccer career after high school and hope to contribute to a program. Most of all, I also want to attain a degree from a university that will prepare me for life.
As for my self-examination: I am a hard worker, first and foremost. Will not be outworked in the gym or on the field. I go at all things prepared! I am a great teammate on and off the pitch. I will play the back line to possess and move the ball forward. I am a friend to all, but I am physical, loud, and will be a leader on the pitch. I appreciate hard work on the field and in the classroom. I balance soccer and school well, and I expect to keep that going in college. I am thankful for every opportunity I have and make the most of everything.
