Joslynn Metz '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Joslynn Metz and I am looking forward to continuing my soccer and academic career. I have been playing club soccer for 8 years now and I would like to further that number. Soccer for me personally, is an escape from everything around me. Yes, it is fun to play and an activity for some people, but for me it is a lifestyle. I use soccer to get away from the stress and to focus my brain on something I enjoy and love. Soccer gives me something to work for, and gives me continuous goals to pursue. I am very focused on school because you cannot be JUST a great athlete, you have to be more. I am a very focused and determined person. School always comes first, and it is my main priority. I would like to be the first in my family to attend a Division 1 college for academics or athletics. I am also very good at organizing things and time management, I know how to manage academics and sports, while still having self-care time.
