Personal Statement

As a soccer player with a passion for the sport and a drive for academic excellence, I am excited to share my personal statement with college coaches. Growing up in a sports-loving family, I have always been drawn to the competitive nature of sports. It wasn't until I started playing soccer as a young girl, however, that I truly found my calling. The rush of scoring a goal, delivering key passes, or making a crucial tackle was unlike anything I had experienced before, and I quickly fell in love with the sport.

Through playing soccer, I have learned many valuable life lessons, including the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and hard work. I have also developed a sense of discipline and dedication that has carried over into other areas of my life, including academics. My academic goals for high school and college are to maintain a high GPA while pursuing a degree in a field that aligns with my passions and interests.

Like many athletes, I have faced obstacles, challenges, and setbacks along the way.  These challenges, however, have fueled my determination to succeed and have taught me the importance of resilience and perseverance. Additionally, I believe that my unique combination of athleticism, work rate, leadership skills, and academic strength sets me apart as a valuable recruit. I am excited for the opportunity to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level while also pursuing my academic goals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
