Kathleen Ferguson '21 Recruiting Profile

After completing my first season at Delta College Fall 2021 (a Junior college in Saginaw ,Mi) and winning our conference and coming in second in the NJCAA  Div. III championship with stats of 6 goals and 6 assist as a freshmen.  Summer 2022, I transferred and am now attending Schoolcraft Comm. College in Livonia, Mi (holding a 3.7 gpa) playing on their Women's Soccer team. Our record this year was 11-1-4 and took the Great Lakes districts and won regional then headed to championship winning our first game 3-0, and losing our second game 3-3  that went into overtime then a PK’s. Stats for 2022, were 14 goals and 9 assist.  My after season plan is to train at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Mi with a private performance trainer. Finish my Spring season then Summer Semi Pro.  My goal is to play NAIA soccer and further my education in Business and Marketing. Please see my YouTube links connected to my page those are the most recent play I’ve had throughout my freshman season at Delta college and sophomore year at Schoolcraft.  I want a regimented set schedule for soccer, strength training and school daily to stay on track to accomplish my goals for a team championship and obtain my degree.  I'm looking to be a part of a strong physical and mental family team that wants and has the same goals as me, so we can grow together and push each other to succeed.  I'm looking for a positive, supportive coach that coaches and loves the game like me and will help me grow as a player to move on to my next opportunity.   I am a fast and physically strong player that's positive, hard working and supportive and complimentary to my team members. I am open and strive for feed back and coaching to better my game.  I will always support my teammates on the field and in return I expect the same.  I'm very curious and strive to learn more about soccer.  I push myself at performance training, power lifting and practice to stay in top shape.  I pick up extra practices and games with other teams(male and female in older brackets) to work on my technique and speed.  I follow coaches and trainers on social media to obtain drills to work on my skills.   I'm very thankful,  up-beat and outgoing person that strives for success in everything I do.
