Jaidyn Veldhouse '24 Recruiting Profile

Most would say I have a friendly, fun loving personality! I am an athlete and a team player. The top qualities that I hold would be that I am patient, reliable, coachable, hard-working and would do anything for my teams success. As a captain, and team leader, I am there for my teammates on and off the field and am very vocal when on the field. I give everything I have the ninety minutes I play. I help my teammates excel by encouraging them and keeping their heads in the game.

When watching me play, you will see I am clever on the ball, and can switch the point of attack effectively. I have been told by many coaches I have a high intelligence of the game. I bring composure to the game and can adapt to anything thrown at me and will do whatever my coach says. I am relentless and won't give up.

I hope to play college soccer while majoring in something I am passionate about. I started Michigan Fire Juniors Club Soccer at the age of 8, and have been on the top team, with quality coaching since then. My team took the title of State Cup Champs, in Fall 2021. Prior to that we were back to back State Cup finalists, and National League Premier 1 Champs.  

When not playing soccer you would find me hanging with friends, playing volleyball, or watching Netflix!  I love summer, wake surfing, and hanging with my family out on our boat.  I am a Christian, and have been blessed with a good education. I have two younger brothers, and parents that push me to work hard in all I do. Looking forward to see what my future holds...
