Hi! My name is Lauren Coy and I am a 2024 midfielder from Mahtomedi, Minnesota. I first kicked a soccer ball when I was 2. Little Kickers started at age 4. I started taking the game seriously around 9 or 10 and when I entered high school I knew I wanted to keep playing in college. We just won a high school state championship during my sophomore year and it really fueled my passion for the game.
My goal is to find a college that will challenge me both academically and athletically. Through soccer and basketball I have learned that I love being part of a team and feel I can contribute positive leadership and energy, a high work rate, and a strategic mindset. From a soccer perspective, my strengths are my field vision, passing, overall strength and game IQ and I would love to share those strengths with my future college team. Finally, I take pride in being a great teammate and having fun while working towards a common goal.
