Avery Pickering '27 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old.  As a multi-sport athlete, I recognize that each sport has contributed to my development as a player.  However, soccer is my #1.  It is my passion!

As a student athlete, my personal mission statement is to lead by example through dedication, hard-work, perseverance, integrity, unity and empathy in the classroom, on the field and in my day-to-day life.  I want to first challenge myself daily to work hard, give maximum effort and approach each challenge as an opportunity to grow mentally, physically, intellectually and spiritually.  I desire to hold myself accountable to my core values while inspiring others to find the best version of themselves.

It is my desire to continue playing the game I love for as long as I am able.  It is my goal to continue to develop as a player so that I may continue my journey at the collegiate level while perusing a degree that ultimately supports my career choice.
