I am a 5’3" Attacking/Defensive Midfielder from Imperial, Missouri. I currently play holding midfield Academy. I also play club soccer for St. Louis Scott Gallagher. I play holding midfield and defense. I currently have a 4.143 GPA and am enrolled in honors classes. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the soccer field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the fields of business and marketing. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I have never really had an issue with that as I am always the first to the field and the last to leave. Ultimately, my dream would be to go to a great school and play soccer at the collegiate level.
At the end of my seventh-grade year, I suffered a broken ankle and ended up missing an entire year of soccer. It was a long recovery process. I woke up every day and remembered why I chose the sport and why I should push myself harder than ever before. I am finally becoming the player I used to be prior to my injury. This incident made me realize I can’t always control my recovery time, but I can always control my mindset and the effort I put in to see results. This injury also really showed me how much passion I have for the game of soccer and how much I am willing to go through to be on that field playing the sport that I love.
