My name is Emma Brown. I attend Reno High School and play club soccer for Sierra Surf 06 Elite. I play the 6,8,9, and 10. I'm a very creative and technique focused player. I know how to use my body to my advantage while protecting the ball or winning the ball back. I dictate the flow of the game by being vocal and patient on the ball. I create scoring opportunities for myself and my teammates and I am dangerous shooting from outside the 18. While my best shooting is from farther out, I am still able to finish close range shots. My 2021 high school season record was 4-12. In the 2022 season we finished third in the league and our record was 9-5-2. I believe I was a part of my team’s drastic improvement and local coaches agreed. I was named Northern Nevada 5A midfielder of the year and mentioned in the reno gazette journal. "Another junior, sweeper Emma Brown, is the stalwart of the Reno defense, turning away countless opposing offensive attacks." Defensively, I work hard to make sure that my team is communicating and on the same page. I minimize opposing players opportunities by breaking them down, not stabbing and forcing them one way but I am also able to take back the ball and distribute to my teammates.
