McKenna Maguire '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is McKenna Maguire and I am a 2025 Striker/Attacking mid. I am entering my junior year of High School this fall. I play for Aztec Impact NPL North 2007, Hollis Brookline High School and for the NH State ODP 2007 teams. 

I am a multisport athlete however soccer has always been my passion since a very young age. I started playing in the town leagues when I was 4. In elementary school I moved up to travel teams and then moved up to my current Aztec Club team when I was in Middle school.  

I am very competitive and like to be challenged. I play primarily as a striker but can play attacking mid or in left or right forward position as well. I have developed good foot skills that allow me to maintain possession of the ball and still be able to score a goal while I take on multiple defenders.  

I was a starter on my Hollis Brookline HS varsity team for my freshman and sophomore years. Last season as a sophomore (2022 Fall Season) I scored 31 goals and had 11 assists. I was one of the top goalscorers in the state. This earned me the recognition for NH All State DII 1st team forward as well as NH All-Area girls soccer player of the year.  

I have played for the NH ODP state team the past 3 years. I was just selected for the invitation-only East Region ODP regional ID Event that will be held in July. This is the 3rd year in a row I have been selected for the regional ID event. I was also selected to play for the Northern New England ODP team that traveled to Italy this past February. I got to experience what soccer is like in Italy. I really enjoyed playing against the Italian Teams and learning about their culture and their different soccer playing styles. 

I also played for my high school varsity lacrosse team the past two years. This past year I was a starter on the team. We had a very successful season and won the NH DII state championship. I also play Basketball for my high school. I also enjoy skiing and wakeboarding.
