Manuela Kemp '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Manuela Kemp and I am apart of the class of 2025. I am a three varsity athelte; alpine skiing, track and my favorite, soccer. I go to Laconia High School and play for their girls varsity soccer team. I have been on my varsity team  since a freshman. I am a defensive player but I am a flexible to play anywhere, except goal. I’ve been told by coaches that I am a very hard working athlete and also been told that I am a coachable person. 

         Within my soccer years; I’ve played on club teams and have been apart of the 2007 ODP Winter Pool Team. My first ever club team was Lakes Region United playing my first year on their u14 team, as a 13 year old. Soon afterwards I got moved up to u16. A couple months afterwards, I played for a u19 coed team as a 14 year old for Lakes Region United. Within that team; I feel so that made me a better player and helped me develop my soccer skills to get ready for that high school level player. Years going into high school being apart of my high school varsity team and being apart of my coed team, I came across ODP. I was apart of there winter pool team two years in a row: I learned so much from that program. On my high-school team; I am well known for my defense, but the season of 2023 I got moved up as a defense mid and I actually enjoyed it a lot. 

    Academically; I like to be challenge and work hard with my learning. At the moment; I am a taking honors classes. I am very passionate about my education as well I am with sports. I really want to be able to play soccer in college because I honestly don’t know what I would do after high-school if I don’t have soccer with me.
