Personal Statement
I start as an outside back for my premier league and as a defensive center midfielder for my school team. I also run track as a sprinter where I have participated in sectionals and state qualifiers for two years. In the fall of 2016, my school soccer team competed in state finals after a very successful season. I was given the task of man marking the opposing team's main scorer and I received the state final game most outstanding player award. This experience along with other experiences throughout my career have transformed me into a player who knows what it takes to win. I am described by others as a hard working, competitive player who plays smart and composed. Having played several different positions in my career, I am willing to move and adapt to where my team needs me. Along with my love for soccer, my academic success is an important part of my life. I was recently inducted into the National Honor Society and I challenge myself by taking AP classes. I also enjoy being involved in activities such as student council, ski club, earthwise club, and horseback riding. I am keeping my options open but I currently plan on majoring in Psychology. I hope to find a college that is a good fit for me academically and athletically.
