Kenley Minch '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kenley, and I’m a Junior at Beavercreek High School.  I have been playing select soccer since I was 7 years old.  I can confidently say that soccer has always been one of the things I have worked the hardest at and have been able to excel in. I am one of the most loyal and dedicated players that you will find that has an exceptional soccer IQ. 

As a midfielder, hard work and mental toughness is a must in this position.  I am position versatile, as well as, equally strong tactically with both my left and right foot.  I’m self-driven, competitive, and extremely focused.  I remain positive, when faced with adversity.  I support my fellow teammates and I love working with others to make myself, and them, better.  These qualities have afforded me the opportunity to be a leader on the field and respected by my teammates and coaches.  Over the past 3 years, I have had the unique opportunity to be coached by a D1 soccer coach, Travis Sobers, who continues to challenge and push me to be the best.

I believe that through the college experience, and collegiate soccer, I will be able to better prepare myself to work with others in the future.  While I plan on working hard on the field, academically, I want to challenge myself just as much.  I currently have a 4.3 weighted GPA.  My classes consist of AP, honors, CCP, and regular curriculum. I have been on the honor roll for as long as I can remember and I’ve had all A’s since middle school.  I believe that my teachers at Beavercreek High school would recognize me as a strong student who contributes to class discussions and goes the extra step to make sure that all assignments are finished and completed in a timely manner.

As I prepare to take my talents to college, I am committed to continuously improving, regardless of the position I play.  I'm open to opportunities at colleges that allow me to compete at a high level, as well as fulfill my strong academic goals.
