Hey, my name is Samantha Touhey and I graduate with the class of 2025. I have played soccer since I was four years old and through my years of development and playing different positions, I have found my love for playing striker. I can play anywhere in the front line mainly, but I played defense and mid field before and could certainly do it again. I have been the captain on both my club and high school soccer team and have been able to use my leadership skills to help guide my teammates. I am a voice that you will constantly hear on the field in both supportive but also motivational ways.
Soccer has always been a huge part of my life, but I am also involved in other programs. Because I want to major in something in the medical field, I am part of the student athletic program at Centerville High School. Through this program I have been able to get hands on experience working with high school athletes and trainers. I am also part of an international service club called Optimist International. I currently am the Secretary of the Ohio District, and will be taking on the position of Governor this October. I have gained skills such as time management, collaboration, patience, adaptability, work ethic and many more through my involvement in both soccer and these programs. I am taking all honors or AP classes and have been able to maintain a 4.5 GPA between my Freshman and Sophomore year.
