I live for the grind! I wake up early to strengthen and condition. I sit down and study to make sure I get A's on homework and tests. I love planning fun with my teammates because I love my team...I am always in. Two-a-days to get ready for the season...I can't get enough. Working on my ball return board in the garage in between it all, so that I can receive the ball with my eyes up. My parents keep saying that I can keep playing soccer as long as it is "still fun," but I honestly I can't remember a time when it wasn't.
Soccer is the activity that drives so many of my other goals. It makes me want to be a better student, it makes me want to keep my body strong and in shape, it gives me friends that I know will last a lifetime, and being successful at soccer makes me hungry for more success. Yes, I love to score goals, but I really love assisting my teammates in the attack.
I think it would be so amazing to continue playing the sport that has given me so much. I have worked at club and high school to lead by example, and share my joy of playing soccer and the grind that comes with it, with my teammates. I feel that I will make a great teammate and be able to contribute to a college team that wants me!
