Isabelle Clarke '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm Isabelle Clarke (a.k.a. Belle). I attend the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush (AABR or Rush Arts) in Northeast Philly and I am a visual arts major. I play varsity soccer and softball, and have been and will be playing all 4 of my high school years. I'm very experienced in both sports as I have experienced many differently paced games from switching around from playing in grade school to high school for both sports. I have been playing both sports since I was around the ages of 4 and 5. I've played for multiple club teams due to teams folding or not having teams (4 club teams for soccer, and 4 for softball), so I am very used to adapting to new teams, teammates, coaches, and coaching methods. Throughout grade school I've played travel club soccer along with my school team, while also juggling around other outside clubs and school. For softball it was more mild considering my school only had a softball team for one year throughout my time attending there. Now attending Rush, my first year being interrupted by covid, I played club during the fall, and for the school teams our district allowed all sports teams to play in spring of 2021, so I was playing softball and soccer at the same time. From my sophomore year until now, I've been working at several different jobs during school and the summer while also playing sports and volunteering in other school events and/or clubs. From then until now I've very rarely struggled with time managing work, sports and school at the same time. I was always able to do my homework and other work on time while still working and playing sports. I am pretty much an exceptional student at school with my 3.83 GPA and either receiving straight A's or A's and some B's every quarter. I am also taking multiple AP classes my senior year (AP Studio Art: Drawing, AP Literature and Composition, AP Computer Science Principles, and AP Government and Politics. I also took AP Language and Composition my Junior Year.) I would really love to play in college mainly Division 2 and below, but I am open to anything if I am exceptional enough for a specific level.
