Hi, I’m Courtney McCracken, a 16 year old rising junior at Trinity Valley High School. I play for the varsity team there as well as my club team, Sting Dallas Royal ECRL 07G. I enjoy the strategy behind soccer and identifying passes and sequences that are available/developing or coming at me on the defensive side. I especially enjoy playing center mid (attacking and defensive) because I get to set up plays and look for scoring opportunities while maintaining the middle. However, I am also comfortable playing outside mid and defense. I would say that several of my strengths are that I have a good sense of the game, am able to anticipate where the ball is going when defending, and have endurance to move quickly up and down the field (800m time of 2:14.4). If I make a mistake or bad pass, I work even harder to recover. I’d really like the opportunity to play at the collegiate level at a school with a strong engineering program. Many of my top choices are Div I and III due to their academics.
